 | 阿联父母给密尔沃基球迷拜年 New year's greetings from Yi's parents |
 圣诞节前夜阿联父亲易景流向易迷致以节日问候，感谢易迷的支持。阿联父母去年节日期间曾经与众多密尔沃基华人易迷欢聚一堂，本地华人的好客让易父母记忆犹新。阿联在宏远队的前教练、队长李群同时向华人朋友致谢。李群上赛季在密尔沃基观摩考察NBA,与不少本地华人结为朋友。本赛季他继续在网队观摩深造。 On Christmas Eve, Yi's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Yi who live in Jersey City with Ah Lian, called the club in Milwaukee to offer season's greetings to Yi fans. They were feted frequently during the last holiday season in Milwaukee. Yi's former coach Li Qun, who were in Milwaukee last season observing the Bucks's training and competition, also sent his greeeting to local friends. He continues his study of NBA this season in New Jersey.

| ESPN：易已成为真正大前锋 |
体坛网记者黄星星夏洛特报道 12月27日，篮网在客场经过一个加时战胜了山猫。此役，阿联状态有所回升全场得到9分和2个篮板。
赛前，本网记者与ESPN资深记者克里斯-谢里丹进行了一番交谈，在交谈中，谢里丹不但没有贬低阿联，反而陈列出了阿联的进步。
体坛：你觉得这个赛季易建联的发挥怎么样？
ESPN：易比上个赛季进步了很多，他现在变得强硬了。从他选秀时，我就开始关注他的一举一动，现在看来，他的确是在进步，而且进步的很快，超乎了我的想像。
体坛：你认为今天阿联最大的变化在那里？
ESPN：现在，易打得更像是一个四号位的球员了，他的三分球比上赛季稳定了很多，这对他来说是一个很好的开始，更重要的是，他有了自信。
体坛：这几场他表现起伏比较大你怎么看？
ESPN：年轻球员都会有起伏，你要知道这才是他的第二个赛季呀。
体坛：在你看来，球队对阿联成长起到什么作用？
ESPN：篮网的突分战术很适合易这样的球员，这可以让他的优势发挥的更加突出。
体坛：这几场比赛阿联在最后时刻都无法上场，你怎么看？
ESPN：现在篮网经常用小个阵容，但对易来说，最重要的是更自信，特别是在进攻时一定要坚决，只有这样才能获得出场时间。

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Home, for two of the marquee players here Monday night, is where an estimated couple of hundred million tuned in on television.

For the Nets, home is where the hurt is.
Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets overwhelmed Yi Jianlian and the Nets, 114-91, at the Izod Center, where the matchup between two of China’s finest players was dwarfed by the Nets’ continued inability to gain traction at home.
They are a sparkling 8-4 on the road, where they return Tuesday to play the Pacers in Indiana. At home, where quality N.B.A. teams pile up quality wins, the Nets stooped to 5-10. They have yet to win consecutive games at home this season.

| 易建联两双哈里斯砍41分 Nets Over Mavericks |
新浪体育讯 12月19日，篮网在主场以121-97大胜小牛。
篮网(13-12)大将德文-哈里斯面对旧主拿下41分13次助攻，令场边的小牛老板马克-库班脸上无光。文斯-卡特砍下34分10个篮板，并送出6次助攻。易建联走出低靡，得到16分10个篮板，NBA职业生涯第三次获得两双。贾维斯-海耶斯伤愈复出，贡献14分。
小牛(14-11)大将杰森-基德在交易之后首度来到新泽西，在旧主面前得到17分7次助攻。德克-诺维茨基24分6个篮板，杰森-特里23分6个篮板。
赛后，记者在更衣室对阿联进行了采访：
记者：今天第一次在主场，而且是在连续几场发挥不好的情况下拿到两双，自己有什么感觉？
易建联：很高兴吧。前几场比赛自己都打得不太好，所以在这几天的训练上，教练都给我增加了投篮和进攻的内容，主要是要我重拾在球场上的自信心吧。队友们也非常关心我，他们也给我提了(很多)建议，都是围绕着如何提高自信心的问题(来给出的)，给我的帮助很大。今天的发挥有所改善，也主要是(由于)出现了很多空位，重新找回了投篮的感觉和节奏吧。
记者：今天第一节手不是太顺的时候，会不会对你的自信心有所影响呢？
易建联：刚开始手风不顺的时候，自己就主要把精力放在防守上，因为我们之前输的几场球，主要就是防守乱了。如果进攻不是太顺，但是防守做好的话，也是可以有机会赢得胜利的。
记者：今天赛前的时候，全队有没有特别想拿下这场比赛呢？因为今天是杰森-基德被交易到小牛之后，回到新泽西的第一场比赛。
易建联：嗯，是的。今天全队在赛前都憋着一股劲，就要取得胜利。因为这场比赛有很多球迷关注，而对手也是西部的一支强队，加上我们之前的主场战绩也不是很理想。所以，今天把比赛赢下来了，对全队的士气都有很大的帮助。
记者：劳伦斯-弗兰克主教练刚才也表扬了你在防守上的表现，说你对德克-诺维茨基的防守很关键，说一下你对自己这场比赛防守的看法吧？
易建联：嗯，因为自己对于诺维茨基来说，应该是比较熟悉的吧。不光是在NBA，在国家队的比赛中，我跟他之间差不多有过十次的对碰吧，所以对他(的特点和套路)还是比较了解的。
